In the Yard
- Applying 15-5-10 yard fertilizer $21.80/40LB Bag is designed to give your yard an early green up. Make this application 2-3 weeks prior to your spring fertilizer for the best results.
- The wet weather is sure to bring out bugs and mosquitos. Now is a suitable time to stock up on bug spray and mosquito products. Here are a few options that we have in stock.
- Mosquito Dunks = $9.25/Each
- Malathion Gallon = $88.55/Each
- Spectracide Accushot Spray = $22.50/Each
- Bengal Insecticide & IRG = $16.20/Each
In the Pasture
- Fertilizer prices have changed since last year. Dry fertilizer has gone down between $30.00 and $50.00/Ton on average. Liquid fertilizer has gone done between $75.00 and $100.00/Ton on average. The current price of 21-0-0 Dry Fertilizer is $455.00/Ton and 32-0-0 Liquid Fertilizer is $395.00/Ton. When the price of ingredients changes, so will these prices. Call and get on our list for application.
- It may be a good option to apply Roundup on your hay fields to target any weeds or undesirable grasses that are coming up. Depending on what the grass growth and thickness looks like, use 12-32oz of Roundup per acre.
- It is still time to make your application of Rezilon for grass burr prevention. As we progress into the year and it gets warmer, that window of application will close.
- Now is the time to start thinking about spraying Wolf Weeds. The best option for spraying around trees is 1 quart of Grazon Next/Acre. For areas with no trees, use 1 quart of Grazon P+D and 8oz of Tordon/Acre. Due to the nature of these plants, please use the Inergy Surfactant when making this application. If you have any questions, please call the store.
- Corteva came out with a new program a few years ago called Ultigraz. This program involves coating dry fertilizer with herbicide to target your weeds as they are young, tender, and growing. The best-case scenarios for this application are:
- You have a spray drift sensitive area surrounded by desirable trees or houses.
- You intend to apply your fertilizer early in the season and making one application would save you time and money.
- The area that you want to fertilize will not support a truck or buggy with spray booms.
If you would like to discuss this as an option for you, give us a call.
- Sorgum Almum Seed will be in short supply this year. If you need some, let us know early.
- It is time to have a conversation about weed spray cost. Here is our current pricing.
- 16 oz Duracor = $23.87/Acre (Includes Application & Surfactant)
- 20 oz Grazon PD3 = $19.13/Acre (Includes Application and Surfactant)
- 24 oz Grazon Next = $20.94/Acre (Includes Application & Surfactant)
- 1 quart Grazon P+D = $19.80/Acre (Includes Application & Surfactant)
- 1 quart 2-4-D = $15.33/Acre (Includes Application & Surfactant)
- As the price of chemicals changes, so will these prices. Call and get on our list if you would like us to make the application for you.

In the Great Outdoors
It is time to pay attention to our deer’s health. Three things that we need to consider at are:

- Antlermax Deer Feed $17.80/50LB Bag= Start feeding the deer early to help with baby development and antler growth.
